Born in Hong Kong, I received my B.A. in Literary Studies from Bard College at Simon's Rock in Massachusetts. Since returning to Japan in 1994, I have worked for various companies, becoming involved in translation and interpreting along the way. Before founding Winesap Translations LLC, I worked as an in-house translator at a major Japanese diesel engine manufacturer, handling most translation-related matters. I love this profession, and that's why I've continued doing it.
We have experience in translating a wide range of documentation, including business letters, newsletters, press releases, catalogues, brochures, reports, presentation materials, and websites. We deliver accurate, polished translations that enable seamless business communication.

Yes. We welcome inquiries from companies and individuals outside Japan. Communication can be handled by e-mail, and translation projects can be completed entirely online, from quotation and document submission to delivery and payment.
Every project we handle is translated and reviewed by humans. Our process includes source review, professional translation by a specialized translator, an in-house review or native check, and final quality assurance before delivery.
We treat all client documents and project information as confidential. Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) are available upon request. If your company has its own NDA, please feel free to send it to us for review.
